Appointment Policy

Dentist in Rowlett

We are blessed with wonderful patients and understand life can be unpredictable. Many times things do come up unexpectedly. However, please know that your appointment time is specifically reserved for you and we do not double book. Please be considerate of this commitment.

Our policy is as follows:

1. Cancellations: We request that you provide our office with 48 hours (2 business days) notice which will allow us to schedule another patient during that appointment time.

In the event Bayside Dental does not receive adequate notice, the following fee will apply:

Hygiene Appointment – $75.00 for each hour of reserved time

Doctors Appointment – $150.00 for each hour of reserved time

This fee cannot be covered by your dental benefit plan and will be your direct responsibility.

2. Failed Appointment: A failed appointment consists of missing a scheduled appointment without notification. This includes arriving late enough to your scheduled appointment that it must be rescheduled (see item #3). Patients who fail scheduled appointments will be subject to a failed appointment fee (see item #1). No future appointments can be scheduled nor can records be transferred without the payment of this fee.

3. Late Arrival: We understand that delays can happen, however, we strive to keep other patients and providers on time. If a patient arrives late, they may request (if it is possible) to have partial treatment done at that time, but the fee will still be the full charge (especially applicable for hygiene/periodontal appointments). In that case, another appointment may be necessary to complete treatment and will be scheduled at the full required fee.

Bayside Dental sincerely hopes that you will be able to keep all of your appointments that we reserve for you, so that your treatment may proceed efficiently. We understand that “emergencies” may come up and we make every effort to accommodate that individual situation.
